Navigated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (nTMS) is a technology that can be used for, compared to earlier technology, more precise non-invasive stimulation of the central nervous system in humans. The navigation constitutes an improvement of the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of the TMS technology. This provides increased opportunities for successful physiological studies, preoperative investigations and treatment of central nervous dysfunctions giving rise to motor deficit, tinnitus or central pain.
