Sammanfattning
In this article, we inform dentists about the oral biopsy service in Oslo which from February 1st,
2014, takes place at the Department of Pathology, Rikshospitalet. This is a model that corresponds to
the oral biopsy service at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen. Since we wish dentists to take
optimal biopsies, we here comment on various topics regarding the submission of biopsies and
some practical issues that we encounter relatively often in connection with the removal of tissue
samples.
