Sammanfattning
In this article we discuss the most important amendments
to the Dental Reimbursement Agreement on dental services
for adults as they relate to periodontology. We submit that
the change to the use of recordings of clinical attachment
level and bleeding on probing constitutes a marked improvement
of diagnosis and the possibilities for a relevant monitoring
of patients with periodontal problems. Finally, we present
the model for operationalization of periodontal recordings for
periodontal diagnosis as used at the Department of Dentistry
in Aarhus.
