Sammanfattning

The study investigated whether a pilot-implementation of Familieambulatoriet (FA) has succeeded in recruiting and identifying infants and toddlers and their families with increased cumulative risk based on hospital patient records. FA is a model for supporting selected parents and children from pregnancy onward to start of school, based on known risk for addictive or/and psychiatric problems. Results showed distinct differences between the users of Familieambulatoriet and the general population, and that Familieambulatoriet identifies and recruits pregnant women, infants and toddlers at risk for mental illness, but that the model needs increased quality, assuring that risk factors are systematically being documented.
