A Nordic collaboration on medical audit : the APO method for quality development and continuous medical education (CME) in primary health care

In order to be able to implement the aims of quality assurance it is a requirement that the methods are well-known and accessible. Audit Project Odense (APO) has previously described a simple registration method, the APO method. The Nordic audit projects in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland have since further developed the method for use in continuous medical education (CME) and quality assurance in the form of medical audit within primary health care.
