Sammanfattning

The tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia on 26 December 2004 was a considerable challenge regarding management of human remains. Exposure to irritating chemicals was high. A number of inquiries regarding respiratory health among forensic team members have been initiated due to reported respiratory symptoms after single or repeated exposure from work with identification of bodies. This paper presents two cases suffering from long standing symptoms. The use of adequate personal protection should be emphasized.
