Sammanfattning

A case of posterior shoulder dislocation is described. The dislocation was misinterpreted twice clinically and radiographically in two different casualty departments before it was diagnosed and treated with closed reposition in a third facility. Treatment was conservative and the arm was placed in an abduction sling for four weeks with subsequent active physiotherapy.
