Sammanfattning
From the autumn 2010, there are new recommendations in Sweden concerning the treatment of acute otitis media. Watchful waiting is recommended for children aged 1-12 years without complicating circumstances. All patients with complicating circumstances and all under the age of 1 year and over the age of 12 years (including adults) shall be treated with antibiotics.
