Psykosociala insatser vid schizofreni eller schizofreniliknande tillstånd. Ett så normalt liv som möjligt - målet i nya nationella riktlinjer
Sammanfattning
The National Guidelines for Psychosocial Interventions to patients with schizophrenia and schizophrenia-like conditions was published by the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare in February 2011. The Board was given the assignment from the Swedish government in 2008 and the guidelines are the first of their kind ever officially published in Sweden. The selection of interventions is based on a comprehensive review of all studies, reviews and meta-analyses in the field that hold an adequate quality. The interventions should be part of a treatment that also include adequate psychopharmacological medication, the latter not being described in these guidelines. A prerequisite for the implementation is a close collaboration between the health care- and the social welfare system since many of the interventions include collaboration from both systems. Currently, they constitute two separate organizations in most regions in Sweden. Some of the recommended interventions are not yet available in Sweden. The National Guidelines are primarily intended for leaders, persons in charge and politicians as a guide for them in their decision making to facilitate the implementation of the guidelines.
