Sammanfattning
Allergic rhinitis is a major chronic respiratory disease because of its prevalence, impacts on quality of life and work/school performance, and links with asthma. Evidence based guidelines and recommendations for the diagnosis and management was in 2008 published by the ARIA (Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma) initiative as a supplement in the European Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. This report has since then become normative for treatment of allergic rhinitis all over Europe. The present paper is an attempt to present ARIA based guidelines adapted to Swedish conditions and treatment traditions.
