Sammanfattning
At the Regional Centre – Violence, Trauma and Suicide Prevention – Region East (RVTS-East), we have
developed a new organisational model for suicide prevention. Important strategic
aims are to improve the quality of suicide prevention activities in the region
in accordance with recommendations given in National guidelines for suicide
prevention in mental health care. To achieve these objectives, local special
advisors are organized in an interdisciplinary and inter-organizational network.
So far, our experiences are indicating that a network organisation could improve
suicide prevention activities in several aspects.
