The use of electronic medical records can contribute in diagnosing a case of battered child Ugeskr Læger 2013;175(5):284-285 Child abuse is a very serious offence and is often underdiagnosed. This case report shows how the use of electronic medical records from different hospitals aided in diagnosing a case of battered child in a 16-month-old girl with an unusual acromion fracture. This illustrates the need for thorough investigation of the records in cases where a fracture might not raise suspicion on its own.
