Sammanfattning
The evidence for fluid therapy during trauma is low. Interventions are: stop the bleeding or alternatively minimize it by applying stabilization of pelvis or put direct pressure on bleeding sites. If extremity trauma occurs, a “tourniquet” (constricting bond) could be applied. Rapid transport to hospital with trauma experience (traumacenter). Start cautious fluid administration to maintain mental status and peripheral pulses without delaying transport. Mainly crystalloids are used (lactated or acetated Ringers).
