Sammanfattning

Users’ experiences are of great importance in improving mental health services. User involved research may contribute to this kind of knowledge. By means of a literary review, the goal for this article is to obtain more knowledge about training in user involved research in Great Britain, Italy and Norway. Training is regarded in relation to the development of user-involved research and what its actual position looks like. The literature review shows that both user involved research and training is developing. Training programs might affect mental health in a positive way, and could be a part of a general health program within mental health services.
