The illicit drugs market has changed in recent years, and the Internet has become increasingly important as a
distribution channel. During the first six months of 2015, more than 200 000 user doses of novel psychoactive substances
(NPS) were impounded in Norway. Many of these substances are toxic and their use has led to fatalities. Knowledge about
these new drugs and the challenges associated with them is especially important for health personnel.
