Sammanfattning
Recent literature is explored focusing on the relationship between symptoms of anorexia nervosa (AN) and other
psychiatric disorders and lines of treatment. In AN, restrictive subtype, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders are the
most frequent co-morbidities. In AN, bulimic subtype, depression, emotional instability/borderline and dependency disorders
are most frequent. Psychopharmacological treatment could be tried in cases with AN and co-morbid depression, but
otherwise the evidence base is lacking and pharmacological treatment relies on case stories and experience.
