Sammanfattning

This study describes user satisfaction with staff collaboration and support, within a low- threshold housing facility, before, during and after a staff intervention. The intervention aimed to increase staff knowledge of language and language observations. Residents in two similar housing facilities were included as a control group. Differences in mean scores were examined using student’s t-test. Before and during the intervention, residents without intervention were more satisfied with their collaboration and support from staff, but four months later, the residents with intervention were more satisfied. Staff training in languages and language observations may be beneficial for residents in low-threshold housing facilities.
