Sammanfattning
The aim of this study was to examine characteristics of young boys in Norway who commit problematic or harmful sexual behaviors (HSB) against other children (0–18). The data was collected from medical records over 10 years from an outpatient clinic. A total of 56 boys were included with a mean age of 14. The majority lives with their biological families and are executing the HSB inside/outside their own homes. Victims are mostly younger girls – mean age 8,5. The majority of the boys are related to their victims as neighbors/friends, biological siblings or other relatives. The HSB are primarily «hands on» behavior: kissing/touching the breast/genitals and penetrative sexual acts. More than half of the boys have committed two or more HSB..
