Sammanfattning

This study is part of a project concerned with promoting the mental health of children and youth in classrooms. The research design in this study is based on the Scandinavian tradition of action research. The study showed that there exists a big potential for more systematic collaboration between teachers in schools, and we propose that working with these matters should be regarded as part of a school development strategy. Working with mental health is not only a health professional issue, but teachers can also benefit from being more conscious of what they can do as teachers to promote mental health in classrooms.
