Sammanfattning

This article presents The Good Lives model of offender rehabilitation. The model offers a theoretical framework for understanding and treating persons convicted of sexual offenses in order to reduce future offending. It combines the Risk-Need-Responsivity principles with a focus on building patients’ strengths and develop their resources, and should be easy to grasp for clinicians. Key findings from empirical research on treatment, recidivism rates and risk assessments are reviewed.
