Sammanfattning
The knowledge base of reablement practice is increasing, but there is still a lack of knowledge about inter-professional collaboration. This study aims to explore facilitators and barriers for collaboration. We have identified four facilitators: to be part of something big, inter-professionalism, professional autonomy and flexibility and working towards a common goal. The barriers are: varying morale of the professionals, care culture versus rehabilitation culture, varying status of the professionals and expectations of economic savings. Both the facilitators and barriers create a dynamic in the reablement practice, which can be advantageous for the service recipients. There is still a need for more knowledge about different dimensions of the inter-professional practice of reablement.
