Regional differences in hospital admission rates for suspected and verified myocardial infarction in Nord-Troendelag county, Norway
Sammanfattning
The aim of the study was to find out whether there were differences between two hospitals in admission rates for suspected and verified Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). This could give an indication of need for coronary care unit beds, because most suspected AMI patients remain hospitalized for 1-2 days to be correctly diagnosed.
