Mastoiditis forårsaget af Fusobacterium necrophorum
Sammanfattning
We report two cases of acute mastoiditis due to Fusobacterium necrophorum. Both patients were previously healthy girls aged between one and two years. The treatment was mastoidectomy and prolonged antibiotic therapy. Both patients recovered completely. The pathogenesis and treatment of infection with Fusobacterium necrophorum are discussed.
