Sammanfattning
The Danish National Cohort Study (DANCOS) is a registry-based follow-up database of four nationally representative Danish Health interview surveys conducted from 1987 to 2000. Information on morbidity and mortality was obtained for each subject included. The database contains information on 40,769 persons who attended 35,433 personal interviews, 3,417 persons having been interviewed twice. DANCOS allows for a wide range of analyses, including determinants of health care utilisation, morbidity and mortality and the social consequences of ill health as well as of social differences and social exclusion.
