Sammanfattning
This study investigates coping with stress in professional care for the elderly. The study comprised ten semi-structured qualitative interviews with auxiliary nurses caring for the elderly. A number of general as well as context specific coping strategies was identified. The coping strategies are discussed in respect to asymmetrical caring relations, intentionality, process, and relational meaning.
