Sammanfattning
Organization and funding of orthodontic care varies between the Nordic countries, and the allocation of tasks between the orthodontist, the dentist and other categories of dental health personnel varies as well. The purpose of the present overview of the situation in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden is to describe specialist training, orthodontic manpower, and treatment against a European background for discussing the role and responsibilities of the general dentist in orthodontic care.
