Sammanfattning
Urology clinics have worked on systematic development of communication with male cancer patients. The development has been implemented within team s, with particular focus on assessing the patient’s communication needs, and adapting information and guidelines to the individual patient. The educational programme consists of an intensive training course and evaluation has been extremely positive. The training programme is considered suitable for use both on other units in Denmark working with male cancer patients, as well as any other units dealing with male patients.
