Sammanfattning
In Norway interprofessional education and learning is a strategy for better health services. Interaction is a requirement for collaborative learning. This study explores how digital technology contributes to collaborative learning for health sciences students. 12 first-year students from different health care programs participated in the investigation. Two methods were used; recordings of activity in online discussions and focus group interviews. The study has shown that the health sciences students initially have negative attitudes towards other groups in the public health services, and they also form stereotypes of these groups. The flexibility of communication through internet media, combined with work methods that are not dependent upon physical presence, contributes to interprofessional involvement and interaction.
