Sammanfattning
Numerous evidence-based interventions have been developed to help children at risk of developing psychological problems. Some evidence-based interventions have been introduced in Norway, but only a small proportion of children in need of help receive these interventions. The majority of children receive interventions with a poor evidence-base. When evidence-based methods are used in practice, it is important to examine how, and to what extent, the interventions are well implemented in practice. Even evidence-based interventions can do more harm than good if not systematically implemented. This should be of great concern for the research and practice field. We will discuss this important topic by presenting the work related to the introduction and implementation of different interventions for children and adolescents in Norway.
