Sammanfattning
This study is based on individual interviews with 13 service users with co-occurant disorders
who were receiving psycho-social follow-up from a mental health and substance abuse team in a
large Norwegian city. The main finding was that the experience of the participants with recovery
orientation in the service could be expressed in the following way: Here, they get a grip on things and
do something about it. This finding suggests that the quality of life of the service users is connected
to the relationships and co-operation of the team within areas and with goals the service users regard
as important.
