Sammanfattning
The article presents the project «From education to practice» which was conducted as part of a
postgraduate program in network meetings and relational competence. Use of the open dialogue
approach and network meetings can increase service users’ experience of participation. Network
meetings allow for the involvement of users’ private network, which can lead to an improved quality
of life for the individual. Through the analysis and interpretation of questionnaire data and focus
group interviews, we investigated whether practice has changed for the individual professional after
graduation. 86% of the informants stated a change in practice. We will present what it takes to
succeed as well as the factors that inhibit the use of the open dialogue approach and networking
meetings.
