Sammanfattning
This article describes a study of patients and their family members with Open Dialogue at a closed psychiatric ward. Open Dialogue is a network-based approach, which emerged in Finland. It draws on seven principles. Our approach is based in open dialogue in network meetings and is offered to the patients and their family members at the closed ward. Data derived from written feedback from the participants. The findings shows that the participants felt they had the opportunity to decide on matters relating to their treatment. They also reported experiencing a sense of equality and a hope for recovery. Open Dialogue can be seen as an applicable practice in this context.
