Sammanfattning
Patients with chronic pain are a group where the treatment will vary and the
results are frugal. "Multimodal rehabilitation" that involves a combination of
physical, mental and social-related treatments has the integrated anthroposophic
hospital, Vidar Clinic offered since its inception. In the study, 15
women with pain problems were interviewed after rehabilitation at Vidarkliniken.
A recurring theme was that a lack of continuity and holistic approach
that they experienced in the previous care contacts, now was satisfactory
resolved. Having been seen and taken care of with a holistic approach was
a turning point towards own health movement. The article concludes with a
gender-reflection.
