Sammanfattning
The population’s needs should be the basis for the health sector. Health promotion and disease prevention are important measures to meet the challenges of an elderly population and increasing proportion of patients with chronic disease. In an increasingly complex sector, needs including the promotion and prevention should be regulated by clear assignments and contracts. The contract should focus on what should be achieved and it is necessary that both clients and contractors agree on the content, quality measures and goals. Follow-up of the agreements is essential to build confidence for the assignment.
