Sammanfattning

The Swedish network of Health Promoting Hospitals and Health Services was established in 1996 and since 2016 all regions and counties in Sweden are included. The mission for the network is to, in partnership, work for an equal and health promoting health care for patients, employees and the population. The network acts through sharing knowledge, generating inspiration and developing influence through collaboration. Tools are sharing experiences, learning and knowledge creation. Methods, developed by interaction between member organizations, are collaboration in task forces, learning by colleagues and annual self-assessments. Through the task forces the Swedish HPH Network functions as a network of networks, evolving arenas and structures for learning processes and inspiration in developing a more equal and health promoting health care. Evaluations of documented management processes in health care organizations indicate that learning processes generated through the Swedish HPH network have contributed to enhancing health promotion within health care. Methods for learning processes needs continuous design and redesign evolving from experiences and conditions.
