Sammanfattning
Occupational therapy is an important health
care profession in the municipalities. Occupational
therapy practice should be evidence-based and
research should also be relevant for practice. However,
occupational therapy in Norway lacks a research
agenda. The aim of this study was to identify and
prioritise relevant research topics, from the perspective
of occupational therapists working in Norwegian
municipalities. A modified two-round Delphi
method was applied. In the first round, forty-eight
occupational therapists in thirteen groups provided
suggestions for potential research topics. In the second
round, twenty-three of the topics were highly
prioritised, and six of them received the highest possible
median rating. The results show that occupational
therapists experienced a need for more research
in several areas. The range of potential research
topics suggested by the participants indicates that
occupational therapy in the community involves a
broad range of work tasks and client groups, each
with a range of occupational performance difficulties.
