Sammanfattning
This is a case report of a 14-year-old girl with severe abdominal swelling over a period of 12 months. The patient was admitted to the local children’s hospital, and an ultrasound scan was performed. The scan showed a tumour in the right ovary. Further investigation with MRI confirmed the tumour as cystic, and resection and pathological examination revealed a 12-kg benign cystadenoma of the right ovary.
