The purpose of the article is to open the question of how we can measure and maintain welfare in a wise way. Exploring GNH, Gross National Happiness of Bhutan, it seems to be a wise model for holistic welfare, that may serve as a tuning fork for the global goals and other welfare models. We found that neither Smart Cities nor Eco Villages seem to offer a complete strategy on their own. We proposed an integrated wisdom-based dialogue in society where many perspectives and levels can be part of a multidimensional stra-tegy for governance, that includes multiple sectors and levels, and where both horizontal and vertical development/transformation can take place. We also proposed, as a profound agenda for all political dialogue and action, a comprehensive and global vision of wellbeing and harmony for all Earthlings.
