The article presents the results of a study of teaching processes involving a group of nurses in eldercare. The nurses went through the teaching processes in connection with the implementation of professional coaching techniques involving handling of concrete, multi-complex tasks.
The study used open interviews of the participants and their leaders approximately 2 months after completing their coaching training. The study resulted in a model intended to support the teaching processes involved in professional coaching. Professional coaching regarding the handling of multi-complex tasks in eldercare is an easily accessible method for skills development for nursing staff at all levels.
