Sammanfattning
The Police have during the last years recognized an increase in crimes committed
by unaccompanied children. The children who committ crimes are few
of the total number of unaccompanied children that comes to Sweden every
year. Most of the children come from a social vulnerable background and
continues to live like that in Sweden with drugs, homelessness and in some
cases suspected trafficking. The children are difficult to reach and the Swedish
legislation makes it difficult for the children to get the help they need. As
a result Sweden also fails to live up to the UN Children´s convention.
