Sammanfattning
The target group of unaccompanied refugee children who are placed on SiS
has steadily increased in recent years. In recent years, around half of the
group consisted of young people from one of the North African countries of
Morocco and Algeria. Problems image is varied but violence, repeated escapes
from other forms of investment, mental health problems, for example in
the form of self-harm and / or suicide attempts and substance abuse also occurs.
The lack of a common language, according to the staff of the institutions,
is a major obstacle in the work of the group. Difficulties in cooperation with the
social services are another problem. Young people with deportation decisions
are a particularly difficult group when it comes to SiS mission. SIS is currently
conducting a series of activities to meet the needs of a growing customer.
