This article is based on a masters thesis exploring how professionals work in a recovery-oriented manner within houses for people with dual diagnosis. The data was gathered through multistage- focus group interviews with professionals. The study highlights the importance of safety trough relationships and safety at the residence. The study also highlights the importance of self-pride trough mastering and positive feedback as a contribution to self-pride.
