Sammanfattning

The UN member states have adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development declaration including 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets. The Government of Sweden has adopted an action plan and has appointed a Delegation for the 2030 Agenda with the aim of promoting, facilitating and stimulating the implementation of the Agenda. There are good prerequisites for implementation in Sweden but there is a need to raise the level of ambition. Six priority areas have been identified, with major challenges and possible solutions for Sweden. These challenges are closely related to a good and equitable health. Consequently, there are many good arguments to more closely link the work for good and equitable health to the work for sustainable development and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
